Media Technologies Announces Appointment of New Director

B.C. - Destiny Media Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: DSNY) is pleased
to announce that Yoshitaro Kumagai has agreed to join the
board of directors. Mr. Kumagai was previously on the company's
board of advisors. Since becoming involved with Destiny, he
has been personally responsible for Destiny's introduction
to the Japanese market. He has established two Japanese resellers:
GB Nexsite (http://www.gbnextsite.com) and Digital Craft (http://www.dgcraft.com).
Destiny
CEO, David Lawrence notes the positive impact Mr. Kumagai
will bring to the organization. "The Japanese market is a
large one and I'm extremely pleased to have someone of his
caliber assisting us to provide direction in exploiting the
opportunities in this market. Destiny expects to have a significant
presence in Japan by the end of fiscal 2001."
Mr. Kumagai
is a highly respected leader in the high-tech industry with
over 20 years experience in the electronics and consumer fields.
He held key senior management and executive positions at the
following companies: Mead, Singer, IDEC Corp. and DPA Technology
in addition to serving as Chairman and CEO of Vivatar Corporation.
Destiny
would also like to announce that Howard Louie will be stepping
down from the board to pursue other opportunities.
