VANCOUVER,
British Columbia, January 24, 2003 - Destiny Media Technologies,
Inc. (OTCBB: DSNY; Berlin: DME 935 410) is pleased to announce
that the Vancouver 2010 Bid Corporation has developed a number
of campaigns utilizing Clipstream technology.
A
Clipstream powered support video is being made available
to partners of the bid corporation for use on their sites.
The corporation is also developing a Vancouver 2010 Bid video
email campaign utilizing Clipstream. The video will
appear directly inside the email, but the email won't be much
larger than one that just utilized text.
This
follows the successful Clipstream powered live webcast
of the bid book sent off to the International Olympic Committee
earlier this month. Destiny is doing another Clipstream Live
2010 webcast event on Feb 5th at 2 PM PST. This event is sponsored
by the Greater BC Chambers of Commerce and features guest
speaker David Faulks, Australian Trade Minister and Olympic
advisor for the Salt Lake City and Beijing Games. Visitors
to http://www.winter2010.com can watch the Clipstream
webcast without downloading or configuring a player.
Steve
Vestergaard, Destiny CEO, comments on the value of the 2010
Olympics to Vancouver based technology companies, "Destiny
was named the leader in playerless streaming technology by
the January 2003 Streaming Media Buyer's Guide, but our profile
is still quite limited. Our association as a Friend of the
Bid will help bring the global exposure our company needs.
With a potential global television audience of more than 2
billion people and more than 10,000 media members expected
in Vancouver, technology and communications are key components
of hosting a successful Games. Destiny Media Technologies,
Inc. looks forward to supporting 2010 and BC's role as a global
center for technology innovation."
"A
winning bid will result in tremendous economic benefits and
community legacies for BC and Canada," says Jack Poole,
chairman and chief executive officer of the Vancouver 2010
Bid Corporation. "Destiny Media Technologies is helping
us communicate the Bid's messages to a huge audience through
the Internet."
