as is evidenced by this latest contract. We are excited by
how quickly the market is changing and moving to java based
streaming. We are on track to becoming the market leader in
this important and growing segment of the streaming business."
Clipstream™,
a proprietary technology developed by Destiny, enables the
delivery of streaming audio directly from a banner, e-mail
or web page using industry standard platforms without the
need for an external player or plug-in. As a java-based technology,
Clipstream™ audio can be heard by approximately 93% of web
users on a combination of machines (PC, Mac, Unix, and Linux)
and the consumer is not required to download or configure
a player. To ensure the highest quality audio experience,
Clipstream™ also automatically detects the user's connection
speed to deliver the most appropriate stream size.
Current
solutions provided by companies such as Real Networks (RNWK-Nasdaq)
or Microsoft (MSFT-Nasdaq) requires an external player, which
cannot be embedded directly into an e-mail. Because Clipstream™
is java based it is natively supported by HTML e-mail programs.
