VANCOUVER,
Destiny Media Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: DSNY - news) today
announced it has signed a major licensing agreement with touchMarketing.com,
a wholly owned subsidiary of Multiple Zones International,
Inc (Nasdaq: MZON - news), for Destiny's streaming audio product
ClipstreamTM.
This
agreement allows touchMarketing.com to offer audio-enabled
e-mails as part of its suite of e-Marketing products and services,
positioning the company at the forefront of Internet marketing.
A
proprietary technology developed by Destiny, ClipstreamTM
enables the delivery of streaming audio directly from an e-mail
without the need for an external player or plug-in. As a java-based
technology, ClipstreamTM
audio can be heard by approximately 93% of web users, with
instantaneous downloading. To ensure the highest quality audio
experience, Clipstream
also automatically detects the user's connection speed to
deliver the most appropriate stream size.
Current

requires an external player, which cannot be embedded directly
into an e-mail. Because Clipstream
is java based it is natively supported by HTML e-mail programs.
"This

streaming audio that doesn't require the end user to support
any special player to hear the message," said Mark Toffoli,
VP Sales for Destiny. "touchMarketing.com is a valuable partner
for Destiny in our mission to bring rich media delivery to
everyone on the internet. This agreement will expose many
new users to the richness and capability of our Clipstream
audio streaming technology."
