to announce that UK distributor, Digistream has established
a major Clipstream partnership in Europe with Servecast Online
Broadcasting (http://www.servecast.com).
Servecast
is Europe's leading business-to-business provider of outsourced
internet broadcasting services. Their high-capacity, high-speed
network is dedicated to delivering the best quality video
and audio.
Online
video and audio is already an established business tool in
the US. However, until now, no company has invested in a pan-European
infrastructure sufficient to stream effectively. Servecast
is pioneering the European load-balanced, edge delivery, data
broadcast network.
The deal
gives Servecast broader access to the burgeoning market for
rich media content distribution and streaming. Blue chip Clipstream™
users include Heritage Canada, Klipmart, Telus, the Globe
and Mail and the Weather Channel.
