VP Appointed to Destiny Media Technologies Board Of Directors

Destiny
Media Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: DSNY - news) is pleased to
announce the appointment of Lawrence J. Langs to the company's
Board of Directors. Mr. Langs is currently Vice President
of Business Development at MP3.com (Nasdaq: MPPP - news).

Prior
to MP3.com, Larry had a variety of experience as a technology
and entertainment lawyer, a senior management consultant as
well as a technology advocate. Mr. Langs worked with his associates
at Interactive Media Consulting as legal and business counsel
exclusively to clients in the interactive media industry since
1991. Projects entailed joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions,
corporate structuring, intellectual property, licensing and
royalties, venture funding and finance. Industries include
multimedia title development and distribution, interactive
television, commercial and internet based online services
and interactive music products. These activities involved
companies such as AT&T, Paramount, Simon & Schuster, Viacom
New Media, Compton's New Media, VPL Research, Interplay, Broderbund,
Time Warner, HyperBole Publishing, Media Vision, Orion Pictures,
Interactive Electronics Corporation and West Coast Entertainment,
among others.
From 1995-96
Mr. Langs was acting Business Development Manager for the
New Media Division of Sybase, at that time the world leader
in interactive television deployments, and the 6th largest
software company in the world. He was involved with strategic
interactive television initiatives, was a team leader for
the worldwide launch of Sybase's first series of Internet
database products, and involved with developing and executing
strategic relationships with Internet companies.
Prior
experience also includes several years as an Investment Banker
for Chemical Bank in New York, and Senior Strategic Consultant
for Arthur D. Little in Boston. Mr. Langs holds a Juris Doctorate
from Boston University School of Law, and a Master's Degree
in Finance and Management of Technology from the Sloan School
of Management at M.I.T. He is a member of the New York Bar.
Mr. Langs
has been Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the
International Interactive Communications Society (IICS), and
co-founder of the Interactive Finance Special Interest Group,
and an active member of the Interactive Multimedia Association
(IMA). Mr. Langs has been a speaker at many interactive media
conferences, and guest lecturer at UCLA Extension classes
on new media for the past 6 years. He has taught dozens of
classes on new media law and business for MCLE credit for
the California Bar Association and UCLA. Mr. Langs has been
teaching entertainment law and business for digital media
at Full Sail since 1996. He is on the board of advisors for
Visiosonic.com, Entreprenuersfunds (http://www.entfunds.com/),
and Alumniworldwide.com. Mr. Langs is active in charities
for digital media and education, serving as President of the
Emagination Foundation and serves on the board of directors
of the Inspired Foundation (www.inspired.com).
