Vancouver, B.C. - Destiny Media Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: DSNY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Yoshitaro Kumagai as exclusive agent for Destiny's business interests in Japan. This is the first step in Destiny's international distribution efforts for their streaming and secure media distribution technologies. Through the efforts of Mr. Kumagai, Destiny is pleased to announce that it has licensed its Clipstream™ audio streaming products to Liveblitz.com and Onna.com.

Mr. Kumagai is a highly respected leader in the high-tech industry with over 20 years experience in the electronics and consumer fields. He held key senior management and executive positions at the following companies: Mead, Singer, IDEC Corp. and DPA Technology in addition to serving as Chairman and CEO of Vivatar Corporation.

Liveblitz.com is a music web portal based in Japan, servicing the Japanese market worldwide. The site caters to a range of musical tastes and is one of the early sites to tap into this rapidly growing market. Liveblitz.com has chosen Clipstream™ for their recently launched music web site enabling it to provide music sampling capabilities to their users.

Onna.com is another licensee based in Japan. The Onna.com site will cater to the Japanese women's market providing a range of lifestyle information and community interests. Onna, translated as "Woman" in Japanese was launched in October, and is already building a strong and loyal following. Their use of Clipstream™ will allow for the adding of audio messaging on certain pages, music sampling and ultimately the self-publishing of music and commentary. Onna.com is supported by international strategic partners and venture capital. Onna.com consists of a multi-lingual team with extensive knowledge and experience in both the Japanese and US business and technology markets

"These two sales are indicative of the potential for Destiny's products in this very large and growing market," says Destiny CEO Steve Vestergaard. "These two new websites will help us to further expose our technology to the Asian market."
