Clipstream™ Integration into Online Video Greeting Cards

December 19, 2002 - Vancouver BC - Destiny Media Technologies (OTCBB: DSNY, Berlin: DME 935 410) is pleased to announce that it has licensed Clipstream ™ instant play streaming video technology to DVGreets, Inc. (http://www.dvgreets.com) for use in online digital video greeting cards. The cards feature music videos and occasion specific messages from leading smooth jazz and pop performers, including Kenny Loggins, Dave Koz, Michael McDonald, Jim Brickman, Mannheim Steamroller, George Duke and Kirk Whalum.

Digital video cards from DVGreets are comparably priced to paper greetings, but site visitors can test-drive a free Mannheim Steamroller Christmas DVG. A DVG is sent as an email and uses Clipstream™ video streaming technology. This means that senders and receivers do not need special software or plug-ins. "No cards, no postage, just select and send. If you've got e-mail, you should be able to send and receive DVG's," said Lamonica Thomas, CEO DVGreets, Inc.

The initial focus for DVGs from DVGreets is on fans of smooth jazz. This focus on smooth jazz leverages DVGreets' founder's 15 years of industry experience, including roles as program director of smooth jazz and urban adult radio formats. But Ms. Thomas already has plans to expand rapidly into country western and other genres for other holiday rollouts.
